Chon Buri is a one and a half hour drive from Bangkok along Highway No. 34 (Bang Na-Trat). Alternatively, taking the motorway (Bangkok-Chon Buri Route), Highway 7, will reduce travel time. The motorways are of very high standard and has several toll-stations. From Bangkok Suvarnabumi to Pattaya, there are two toll-stations costing THB 30 each.
To and from Pattaya - Suvarnabhumi Airport
Airport Pattaya Bus is a bus operator offering direct airport transfer from Suvarnabhumi Airport also known as Bangkok International Airport. This is the only bus operator to operate a bus route between Suvarnabhumi Airport and Pattaya. They have several buses operating 7 days a week. and pre-scheduled bus service, passengers can, in advance, plan their trips and have room for some flexibility. Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekkamai) to Pattaya Bus Terminal
The 1.5-hour journey from Bangkok can be made on regular buses originating from the Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekkamai). Air-conditioned buses leave Ekkamai every 30 to 40 minutes from 05.00 and the last bus leaves at 23:00. Tel: 02-7123-928. The bus-fair is THB 124. Non air-conditioned buses leave Ekkamai every 30 minutes from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tel: 0 2391 2504.Northern Bus Terminal (Morchit 2) to Pattaya Bus Terminal
There are also air-conditioned buses leaving the Bangkok's Northern Bus Terminal (Mochit 2 Bus Terminal) on Kamphaeng Phet 2 Road from 04.30 to 22.00. Call 02-936-3509 for more information. Travelling to Pattaya

Pattaya Van offer transport in new Toyota Commuter minibuses from Victory Monument to Pattaya Tai and vice versa, every 15 minutes. The price is THB 97 for one way. First bus leave from Pattaya or Bangkok at 06:00 and last bus leaves at 20:00. More information can be found on Pattaya Van web-site.
Travelling to Pattaya
There are numerous options to travel to and from Pattaya. If you are coming by air to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, the most common means of transportation is by taxi or limousine service. If you order in advance you can get limousine service from the airport for around THB 1100 and up. Going to the airport cost from THB 1000 for private car or THB 800 with meter taxi. The bus service from the airport is also very reliable and frequent, so this has become a good option in recent years.
To travel to or from Bangkok, you also have several options, most commonly is minivan service from Victory Monument or regular bus from several bus-stations around Bangkok.
